This a life of a woman that has dedicated her whole life to helping others. She had raised 2 children on her own following a divorce from an alcoholic after 17 years of marriage. She had remarried to a man with Cerebral Palsy & cared after him until the man after almost 4 years of marriage threatened to kill her & her youngest son. Before her youngest became an adult her mother became ill & had to be put into an induced coma for 2 weeks to let her heart rest after having coded 13 times in 1 night. Her mother was put on dialysis 3 times a week for 7 years & within that time her mother had to have her leg amputated & ask her to quit work to care for her & her father until her mom passed away. She continues caring full time for her father which is mentally disabled. Going the extra mile she didn't want her aunt to be placed into a hospice home after falling in a nursing home & hitting her head having to have a craniotomy, going into a coma, having a trach & feeding tube put in so, she took her aunt home with her to care for her with the help of hospice care nurses coming in twice a week until she passed away. She slept in 20 minute intervals for 7 weeks caring for her aunt until her aunt passed away. To this day she cares for her father which is now 76 years old full time never being able to return to work. She has an older van that is starting to show its age & not able to afford getting another vehicle. She regrets nothing in her life that she has done for others & knows in her heart that someday God will bless her for everything she has done for & will continue to do for others. I'm very proud to say that I'm proud of the woman she is & that woman is me. God Bless all of you this Holiday Season.
