I was adopted by my grandmother the 2nd oldestOf four children my older brotherI Had autism And my younger brothers live with there dad side of the family.Me and my brother were toss from foster home to group homeBacked then autism wasn’t bigNo one wanted a child w/ autismSo they separated me and him and I tried to find him for 18 years No one will help me I wrote shows Pouring my heart out telling him about my brother being a crack baby with autism thinking they will help no one help I had a friend who was adopted her family told me about this process they can help me find my brother I went to this process it’s Took a yearBut my brother was located when my brother was adopted he couldn’t read he couldn’t write he currently reads he currently has a job I have been keeping up with him I try to go visit him every 2monthsHe currently stays three hours away from me my vehicle just barely allows me to make it there I am a single mother who works hard and keeping my family together since I found my brother I have a missedAny birthdays or important holidays I try my hardest to make sure that I’m there if I had a more reliable vehicle that will be one less worry that I have to worry about it’s so hard when they have autism because He don’t forget anythingIt can make his day or it could break his day I try to keep my word with him I never missed a visit having a reliable vehicle will make it possible to go visit my brother whenever I need so I literally take these 3 hr Visit with his tension spanI’m thereNo more than an hour but I’m here every other few weeks checking on him and reassuring him that I will never let him out of my sight again I would truly appreciate it if you guys will consider me even if I don’t win it’s just a blessing to know that I have my brother back after the 18 years I gave him my word that I will never leave him again and if I have to catch the train which I have done before then so be it please consider me and my family for this vehicle it will change our lives
