Do you believe in miracles?!

Winning a Chevrolet would change my life exponentially because I would be able to share myself with the world. A variety of experiences in my life tried to show me that I should stop trying or not be here anymore. Growing up with a family that had poor income, suicide, abuse, homelessness, starving, being abused and stranded did not stop me from completing what I wanted to do. I showed myself and my family that anything is possible. I traveled to another state on a bus with only 300 dollars and managed to get me a home after a couple of years. I learned to navigate this world with ease even though there were experiences that treated me with no kindness. I would like to be able to travel on my own and help others who went through theses predicaments like i have. I have started my own business where I share my experiences and offer any resource I could because I know that there is help out there. I do not want any human being that is capable of changing this world for the better to be in the dark any longer. This vehicle would be a blessing. I am currently going to school to become a doctor. I have always loved to help others or give aid when I can. I noticed that when certain tasks were done someone asked me, “are you a miracle or I just know your magical.” I did not know what they meant by that because everything I went through did hurt but I am still alive and wanting to actually live my life. No depression, mental illness or societal struggles kept me from at least trying. Life is precious and it took me so long to see that. I used to sleep in my room everyday and not do a single thing, I thought ‘what is the point when everything feels like its against me?’. Life brings resistance for a reason! I turned that nasty feelings into something that would aid myself and others. I create different statues. I make sure to go out into the community or a near by school to offer my services. I want to make change that would stick and not become temporary. Even though my name is Marteria; I should have been called miracle or magic because everything i put my hands on elevates me to my highest good.
