The dream of helping others

Andrea, S

From the time I was very young, I was taught very difficult life lessons. I lost multiple role models and it sculpted me. My aunt, my uncle and my grandmother were all amazing people who I looked up to. My aunt was sick her entire life and never stopped fighting. My uncle smiled until the end and my grandmother helped everyone around her until the day she died. As a senior in college studying Psychology and Human Biology I plan to go to school to become an Occupational Therapist. This career will allow me to help and support so many other people just like those that I have lost. I have worked 2 jobs and gone to school full time for 3 and a half years now. I currently drive my loaned grandfather’s car. This car would be an amazing opportunity for me to get more experience by driving to other areas that have OT centers. It would open many doors for me and would allow me to reach my life goal of helping as many people as I possibly can. If I were given the car, I would be able to save money for Graduate School applications. Thank you for this opportunity, I hope that I am considered. -Andrea
