I have been disabled since 2006. I woke up one morning went to work and was pulled down by one of my students with special needs, and it changed my life forever. I now have doctor's appointments three to four times a month. I have two children, they are my world. I try not to show my pain that I have in my body because of my work injury I've had two back surgeries I have a torn meniscus in my knee and herniated discs in my neck they want to do another surgery on my lower back and now also my neck. I would love to win this car because I will be able to get back and forth to my doctor's appointments and also would be able to take my children to their school events. I have a straight A honor roll student who is aspiring to be a veterinarian. My son is in the process of enrolling in auto mechanic school because he's a genius when it comes to working on cars but it's quite expensive. But where there's a will there's a way the only thing is is I would have to drive him back and forth to school and because I don't have a reliable car it's going to be difficult. But again where there's a will there's a way. I also just wanted to say thank you for being a blessing to someone. I just think that's awesome that Homewood Chevy would think to give back to the community. if I do when I definitely am going to also make sure I continue to pay it forward as I do in my everyday world. It takes a village to raise our children, and I'm part of that Village and even though my body hurts from top to bottom I make sure I get up and do what I have to do for my Village.
